Can you have an identity crisis in your business?
Sure you can and it’s all surrounded by hiring new members of your team and scaling your business.
When it’s time to hire help, that’s when you delegate tasks to the new person. Sometimes you may feel relieved because those were tasks out of your genius zone, and other times you may feel like you don’t know what you’re going to do next, what your workload would be, and this can end up in an identity crisis.
Fear not, because this is the moment you need to remember your purpose and your business’ vision. This is the moment you embrace the opportunity to let your wisdom and genius zone bloom. When you hire help, it levels you up to new and better opportunities for your business.
I’m going through this right now, with a client who just hired basically her clone, and within minutes of this person accepting the offer, we were already talking about the whole next phase and level of their company. That’s how you scale, and you get up from those moments of identity crisis.
When this happens, you ask yourself: what do I mean to my business, what does my business mean to me, what are my next steps, what do I need to learn from this, where do I need to grow, where are we going as a team, how will the company continue to grow.
You’ll need to be a strong leader and be able to define your company’s culture to your new members. Have an honest conversation with them and let them know you’re always there to help them too.
If you’re in need of help hiring your team members, I’m ready to do it, Entrepreneur. I see you, I get you, I’m with you, I’m your biggest cheerleader. We have some really great things coming out on the horizon and I cannot wait to share them with you. If we haven’t had time to talk about you and your scaling business, make sure you sign up and book some time together with me on a 20-minute session. It’s for you. And I really want to get that time with you. So, enjoy your day. Keep evolving, entrepreneur.
Don’t do this journey alone. It is very important to surround yourself with a community of like-minded entrepreneurs.
