Do you have a team of talented rockstars and amazing individuals?

Picture yourself back in middle school on the sidelines of kickball. You are required to handpick your team. Would you pick the same people you have on your team now? Would you pick them off the sidelines to be on your team? Do you have an eye on someone else or a new addition? There’s your answer.

The success of every project or launch and eventually your business depends on the continuous effort of the people in your team – the right people. Having a great team with people who not only work well as individuals, but also together as a team should be one of your goals. Building your Dream Team will improve problem-solving abilities, more collaboration, confidence, and motivation. Best part, it’ll scale your business.

Today I want to bring you a simple formula. Dream Team + Dream Process = Dream Company. The dream processes are the ones that work for you and your business, they will get your company going and you’ll be able to live the life that you want. It really is that simple. Now, what’s not that simple is getting together that group of individuals.

How to Build your Dream Team

Let’s go back to the basics. If you have people on your team right now that you don’t like, as hard as it sounds, you have to take care of it. It’s essential to hire team members who have core values fit for the position and your business, and whose skills and experience will elevate the team. They will be the experts in their space and they will use their core skills to make their highest and most productive contribution to your business.

Whenever I need to hire a new team member, I always refer back to my Team Maker Formula course. It helps me to know who is my next hire and how to:

  1. Create the job description
  2. Time block my schedule for a less overwhelming interview process with a standard operating procedure
  3. Use a template to help track where I’m posting the job and the candidates who are responding to stay organized.
  4. Do the interview process with a total process outline.
  5. Review and rate the candidates to narrow it down to the final three.
  6. Write the top 10 interview questions to ask to get to know the final three candidates and further determine which one is my next best hire.
  7. Nail the offer and negotiation once I have identified my next best hire.
  8. Do the onboarding process to set them up for Success!

Making the wrong hire takes a lot of time and energy, not to mention money. But, what if you knew exactly who you were looking for and where? What if you could find the right person for your team? The goal of the Team Maker Formula is to simplify so YOU don’t feel overwhelmed. If you want to know more about this excellent course, click here: Team Maker Formula Course.

The Core Values Index

If you already have a few people on your team and would like to know their core values and skills, then The Core Values Index is for you. It is the simplest, most accurate tool to improve self-awareness and align job tasks with the person’s innate nature. Who’s it for? Everyone. It is for You, as the leader and CEO of the business, it is for employees or anyone who wants to learn more about their core values and how they can affect work and life. It is the only assessment using only positive strategic values in a simple word-choice format

Do not worry, it is not another personality test and does not require answering any questions. Instead, users simply choose 72 words to reveal their innate nature and core motivational drivers. Core motivational drivers dictate the behaviors and desired work that develop self-esteem, causing people to subconsciously seek work offering an opportunity to make their highest contribution possible. It’ll take you or your employee 10 minutes or less to do it.

When you use our Core Values Index assessment, and you hire someone who has the ability to registered processes and systems in your company, it’s gold, it’s magic. When they are make your infrastructure and your operations efficient, seamless and productive, it is life changing. And I’m saying this out of pure experience.

Why are Processes and Systems Important? So let’s say that you pulled together a dream team with the help of the Team Maker Formula and the Core Values Index. Now, each person needs to know exactly what to do in the business. Getting everything organized must be done, no matter how small your business is. Treat your business just as you would if it was a multi 7-figure business or bigger. Having processes and systems in place can make the difference between calm and success and chaos and failure.

When should you registered a process? When tasks or projects are completed often (every week, every month), when tasks directly affect your business costs, impact your client satisfaction and your business growth.

Processes have an important role in the functioning of a business and its structure. A well planned, recorded and organized process will help a business with its current and future team members.
